Some pics of our bike riders

The kids have been riding bikes a lot lately, so here are some photos! (CLICK PICS FOR LARGE VIEW)
(Max ALWAYS wears a helmet, except for in these pictures !!??)
(Also, Kinsey has now been instructed never to take her hands off the handlebars!)

Max and Taylor had a school concert recently - Max exhibited a definite predisposition to act as if he has stage-fright. - He never looked at the director, only us :)

Crab Shell Expedition

We read an article in the paper about crab shells out at North Douglas, so we set out after church to see for ourselves. Here are some pictures from our expedition!

Hot Summer Days in Juneau, August 2005

Taylor and freinds enjoying a hot day in the back yard...

What do we need on a hot day? Popsicles of course!

As soon as I'm finished with this one, I'll need another :)

Some Photos from last summer

It was pretty hot one week in August

So we went swimming at the glacier...

Now there's a real alaskan chick... barefoot in the glacial till!

How do you start this thing?

Kinsey enjoys feeding the pigs!

Kinsey likes the beach too.

Does wearing the hat really make you a fireman?

Taylor's Tea party

Of course, Max had to have his own private tea party too.

What do I do with this stuff?

Our Blind Guest

Leanne was just outside and she noticed another houseguest. He lives right outside our front door. This one is a little smaller but just as interesting as our pokey guest from the previous post. It is called a 'long-legged bat' or a Myotis volans.
The University of Alaska has a paper on 'long-legged myotis here.

Our Pokey Guest

We took this picture a couple nights ago in the culvert at the end of our driveway. I used photoshop to make it a little brighter. He was evicted by means of a bottle rocket. :)
